Jeannette's creative artwork explores her Filipino-Black Mestiza heritage, ecofeminism, sexuality, and spirituality. It it is through art she was able to gain confidence and find endless self-love. She was able to let go of past pain, and had the ability to envision a beautiful, positive, and happy future. Jeannette's art work is inspired by life happenings including her doctoral studies, love, family life, and activism. The art Jeannette creates has deep connections to her academic work, which focuses on spirituality, social justice, empowerment and ecofeminist activism.
